"Wiki about Thai Food"

Thai food is known for its balance of three to four fundamental taste senses in each dish or the overall meal: sour, sweet, salty, and bitter. The spiciness of Thai cuisine is well known either.
As an acknowledged expert of Thai cuisine, David Thompson, explains Thai food (from a Western perspective): “Thai food ain’t about simplicity. It’s about the juggling of disparate elements to create a harmonious finish. Like a complex musical chord it’s got to have a smooth surface but it doesn’t matter what’s happening underneath.

5-stars-ratingSometimes my friends and I have to make a conscious decision not to come here so often because it’s that GOOD and we’re that regular. The food is always fresh/hot and delicious, the service is awesome (the servers try very hard to make sure you get what you want), and the price is ultra reasonable. I’ve yet to find a better spot in Gainesville for the quality and service. Don’t be fooled by the decor or the acoustic of the place, it’s worth it!

I’ve been to Rice Thai, Bahn Thai, Bagels and Noodles, and even the infamous Bangkok Square that was supposed to be the best in Gainesville. But Wa Ha Ha has by far been the BEST! It was fast and absolutely delicious. Some of the best pad thai I’ve had in a long time. I got the pad thai with shrimp and it was actually very reasonably priced. I went a little bold and had it in Hot, and it really was. I find it very rare that Thai restaurants will actually give you spicy food upon request but they did it perfectly. It was a little too hot for me, even as a Thai/Lao/Viet mix, but still absolutely amazing! I will definitely go back for curry and maybe even the lunch buffet again soon!

5-stars-ratingI was surprised how good the food really are. I used to live near Thailand, and their food are so good. this place definitely gives a right definition about thai food. Delicious delicacies!

5-stars-ratingVery good restaurant. I often go for their Panang Curry. The Thai Tea is awesome too. They can make foods real HOT if you want. If that is not enough hot for you try Chopped Chilli Fish Sauce.

5-stars-ratingEasily the best Thai food for miles around! Ever since I discovered them, they’re the only place in town I go for curry
